At Diehl Metal Forgings (DMF), we combine our decades of experience in the cold and hot forming of a wide variety of metals. Our state-of-the-art machinery, efficient production sequences and lean processes enable maximum precision in terms of shape, position and dimensional accuracy as well as excellent surface finishes.
Thanks to our (near) netshape production, we reduce material usage and downstream processing, which means your products can be manufactured more economically and with fewer resources.

Process expertise in metal processing

Our manufacturing expertise covers the entire spectrum of modern metal processing:

  • Hot forming

    Precise forged parts from a few grams to 35 kg on automated systems with press forces of up to 1,100 tons - including heat and surface treatment.

  • Cold forming

    Sophisticated progressive and transfer processes with press forces of up to 8,000 kN for complex components made from strip material.

    Machining & processing

    Modern CNC machining centers with inline measurement and quality monitoring enable precise machining of even the most demanding special alloys.

eZeebrass - lead-free brass

With eZeebrass, Diehl Metall offers an innovative lead-free brass alloy that has been specially developed for demanding machining and forming processes. Thanks to the optimized alloy composition, the material enables very good machinability with controlled chip breaking and stable processes during turning, milling and drilling.

At the same time, eZeebrass impresses with its good hot forming properties and is suitable as a high-performance alternative to classic lead-containing brass alloys. This makes the material ideal for modern series production, sustainable production and future-proof applications in the field of copper alloys.
