Next-Level Electroplating Solutions for Future Industries

As requirements in electrification and power electronics continue to increase, Diehl Metal Applications is further expanding its electroplating capacities across multiple locations. A key milestone is the expansion of selectivity plating capabilities through four new plating lines in Berlin, designed to provide greater flexibility, precision and efficiency in modern strip plating applications.

DMA is also strengthening its expertise in plating wide and thick materials in France, supporting applications that exceed conventional industry standards and require highly reliable surface solutions. In addition, Diehl Metal Applications continues to advance its Aluminum Strip Plating (ASP) technologies, enabling innovative surface solutions for lightweight and high-performance applications in electronics and modern mobility systems.

With these investments, Diehl Metal Applications continues to expand its position as a technology partner for sophisticated electroplating and integrated manufacturing solutions.

Four New Lines and Expanded Plating Capacities

At Stanztec 2026, visitors will gain insights into four central focus areas shaping DMA’s electroplating strategy:

  • the new plating lines in Berlin for advanced selectivity plating,
  • the plating line for solutions for wide and thick material plating,
  • the possibility for aluminum strip plating technologies
  • the company’s future perspective on Spot Plating 2.0 for increased material efficiency and resource optimization.

The trade fair presentation demonstrates how DMA combines advanced plating technologies, engineering expertise and integrated production processes to support increasingly complex customer requirements in mobility, electronics and industrial applications.
