Diehl Brass Solutions awarded Silver Medal in EcoVadis Rating
The company achieved particularly positive results in the Environment category, increasing its score from 85 to 89 points. Results remained stable in the other categories: Labor & Human Rights (74 points), Ethics (70 points) and Sustainable Procurement (77 points).
“Achieving a score of 80 points and ranking among the top 7% of rated companies is a strong recognition of the progress we have made. The improvement in the Environment category demonstrates the positive impact of our efforts. At the same time, the result encourages us to continue strengthening our sustainability efforts,” says Heinz Strobl, CEO of Diehl Brass Solutions.
EcoVadis medals are awarded based on a company’s percentile ranking at the time its scorecard is published. Sustainability performance in the areas of Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement is benchmarked against all companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide across all industries during the previous 12 months.
The increased use of renewable energy at Diehl Brass Solutions demonstrates the progress made in the Environment category. Photovoltaic systems installed on the roofs of the production facilities generate electricity directly on site for use in the company’s energy-intensive manufacturing operations. In 2025, on-site photovoltaic electricity generation amounted to 3,684 MWh. In addition, Diehl Brass Solutions sources electricity from renewable energy facilities in Germany through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
