Diehl Defence, a leading system house for guided missiles and ground-based air defence (GBAD) systems, will showcase its capabilities to an international audience of industry professionals at ILA 2026 from June 10 to 14 as a global company whose products have proven their protective capabilities and operational effectiveness. Under the motto "Global Commitment - Proven Protection", Diehl Defence will exhibit selected products at its both in the outdoor area of the exhibition grounds at BER Airport, which are primarily used to combat threats from the air.

Compared to the previous ILA two years ago, the Diehl Defence exhibition area in the ILA Defence Park has been expanded once again, offering visitors insights into and information about the IRIS-T SLS, SLM and SLX ground-based air defence systems. IRIS-T SLS for the short (12 km) and SLM for the medium (40 km) range have regularly demonstrated their performance in use since 2022; IRIS-T SLX with a long range of up to 80 km is currently under development.

Systems for drone defence will also be on display, such as GARMR, which was shown for the first time at Enforce Tac at the beginning of the year and features the effector CICADA. Together with the air defence systems, these systems form the elements of "Layered Air Defence" approach, which plays a central role at ILA 2026.

In addition to missiles currently in use, such as IRIS-T in its original air-to-air application, the company will also exhibit effectors and missiles of the future such as FCAAM, FEANIX and HYDEF. These three future projects underline the company's commitment to contribute its technologies and capabilities to the highly networked defence systems of the future.

Other exhibits at the Diehl Defence booth, such as long-range precision effectors, are also part of the company's series or development portfolio, which will serve the pursuit of global security. The Diehl Defence UGV Ziesel, the navalized version of IRIS-T SLM, SkyStriker and RBS15 will complement the Diehl Defence product display at ILA 2026.
