2025: Despite the challenging macroeconomic situation, Diehl again performed well overall and recorded sustained growth.

2026: Diehl expects to continue its sustainable growth trajectory and anticipates an increase in sales to around €6 billion.

Despite the challenging macroeconomic situation, Diehl again performed well overall and recorded sustained growth in 2025. The Group’s sales rose to €5,4 billion and thus were €725 million, i.e. 15.4 % above the previous year’s value (€4,7 billion). EBIT increased from €460 million to €703 million. As a result, we were able to fully meet the forecasts for 2025. Both sales and earnings developed above expectations. The Group’s positive performance in 2025 is, of course, the result of the respective developments in the divisions.

The number of employees increased by 769 persons - i.e., 4.1 % to now 19,449 employees as of the reporting date. As in previous years, this growth was driven by the continued rise in business volume, particularly in the Defence (818) and Aviation (241) corporate divisions.

Outlook for 2026 and further development

As in previous years, Diehl Group once again demonstrated in 2025 its overall strong potential for continuous and significant sales growth in the coming years through further broad-based growth. Despite ongoing uncertainties resulting from geopolitical tensions, a subdued global economy, and the continuing conflicts and military confrontations in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the Diehl Group remains confident about the future and committed to further pursuing its growth trajectory. Thanks to the Diehl Group’s proven broad-based positioning and the balanced portfolio of its five corporate divisions, confidence in the continuation of its sustained and profitable growth trajectory continues to outweigh the associated risks. For the current fiscal year, Diehl expects sales to increase to about €6 billion, while earnings (EBIT) are anticipated to remain stable.
