Cornelius Weitzmann appointed as the new Member of the Executive Board

The shareholders and Supervisory Board of our company have appointed Mr. Cornelius Weitzmann effective September 1, 2026, as the new Member of the Executive Board responsible for Strategy and Technology and Speaker of the Executive Board of the Diehl Verwaltungs-Stiftung. The experienced industry executive will thus assume the key role in driving the strategic activities of the Diehl Group. His focus will be on further developing the Group’s technological portfolio and aligning it with sustainable growth strategies.

The shareholders’ thanks are extended to Mr. Jürgen Reimer (CFO and member of the Executive Board responsible for Finance), who has additionally assumed the role of Speaker of the Executive Board on an interim basis since July 2024. Mr. Reimer will assume the role of Vice Speaker of the Executive Board in the future.

 Mr. Weitzmann studied Industrial Engineering in Karlsruhe and Seville. From 2007 to 2025, he held various senior management positions within the Voith Group, most recently as President and CEO of Voith Turbo and member of the Executive Management of the Voith Group, with revenue responsibility of approximately €2 billion.

With Mr. Weitzmann Diehl has gained a leader who combines profound technological expertise with international strategic capabilities.
