Procurement Portfolio

Diehl Aviation develops and manufactures a broad portfolio of individual components and integrated solutions in the areas of flight control systems and cabin systems. For potential suppliers, this translates into a wide range of opportunities:

• Aerostructure Composite: Structural parts are required in large volumes across all locations. A cross-site category/commodity management approach ensures that composite components are strategically bundled and managed across our sites.
• Electronics & electronic devices:  Demand ranges from connectors and complex pre-assembled wiring harnesses to fully tested populated circuit boards and complete end devices developed by suppliers.
• Metal components: This includes standard parts, CNC-machined parts, complex sheet metal and formed components, castings, extruded profiles, and surface finishing processes.
• Plastics & base material: Diehl Aviation requires a wide variety of aerospace-specific, primarily polymer-based materials for its solutions.
• General Procurement: Responsible for sourcing all non-product-related goods and services — from consumables, tools, and office supplies to IT, marketing, cleaning and logistics services, as well as buildings, office equipment, machinery, and production systems.
• Supplier Quality & Development: Ensures a standardized approach to supplier selection, management, and development.
