These are your tasks:
- Responsibility for developing and implementing software tests for devices and systems in the areas of water, air and fire management
- Defining test cases based on software requirements and verifying test coverage in the IBM Rational DOORS requirements management tool
- Developing test scripts in Python and performing hardware/software integration tests (high-level testing) (digital and analogue I/Os, CAN bus, RS232, SPI)
- Creating test scripts in the VectorCAST/C++ tool and executing low-level tests
- Responsibility for producing software documentation in accordance with the DO-178C standard
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or computer science, ideally with specialization in embedded software development
- Extensive experience in functional testing on embedded systems
- Knowledge of Python scripting language and the C programming language
- Experience in software development in safety-critical areas is an advantage
- Fluent English (C1/B2) and basic German (B1/A2) language skills
